So you are signed up and ready to come out for your First Jump Course, Great! Before you come out we ask you go over a couple things. We will be cramming a lot of skydiving information into your ground course and it can be overwhelming if it's the first time you hear the information. The better informed you are before your course, the easier the course will be! In fact, those who read over the materials we ask before their course are 80% more likely to outperform those who do not. Be smart, Be safe, Be ready!

Skydiving Information Manual

Here is a link to the Skydivers Information Manual (commonly referred to as the SIM). If you are very serious about skydiving you should go ahead and purchase it, but for now just view the PDF version available online. Before you take your First Jump Course all you need to read through is Section 4, Category A. It starts on 25 in the book, however if you are viewing the PDF online it's actually on page 43.

USPA's Online Ground School Manual

Digitially flip through the USPA Ground School Manual! This is an excellent source of info set up in a fun, easy platform. This doesn't work well on phones but should be fine on your computer. Read through all of it EXCEPT you should SKIP the parts on PACKING (as it is long and you will not be needing it until later in your student progression), EXIT (as our plane and exit style are not shown), and FREEFALL (as we will be teaching this later in your course). Take special care to read the CANOPY and LANDING sections. You can also use this resource to review before your jumps or to prepare later on for your test!

Good Luck, Blue Skies, and See You Soon!
